Makeup classes taught in a relaxing wellness-spa environment. To ensure individual attention and learning, class sizes are small. Students learn not only all styles of makeup but also are given the resources and coaching to be successful in their career in makeup and beauty. At the successful completion of each course, students will receive a certificate.

Courses Offered:

Professional Makeup Course

• 60 hours
• $1500
• Day Course: Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, 2 weeks
• Evening Course: Tues & Wed 6pm-9:30pm, Sunday 10am-3pm, 5 weeks

Bridal Makeup & Hair Course

• 14 hours
• $500
• Weekend, 2 day class, Saturday and Sunday, 11am - 6:30pm (includes break)
• Learn everything about bridal makeup, hair and how to build business
• Recieve a starter kit with bridal makeup items and hair products

Eye Impact Makeup Class

• 7 hours, held either Saturdays or Sundays 11am-6:30pm (includes a break)
• $275
• Learn all about eyes, working with eye shapes, natural to dramatic looks, lash application, eye brow shapes
• Receive small kit with eye makeup brushes & eye products needed to create looks

Hairstyling for Makeup Artist Class

• 8 hours, scheduled on a one on one basis, student must bring a hair model
• $450
• Learn how to work with styling tools and products to do the most popular hairstyles, go over different hair textures and how to work with clients to achieve the perfect hair look
• *** Hair Kit needed for class sold separately or students can bring own tools

Henna Class

• $200
• 4 hours (2 hrs - basic lesson, 2 hrs - intermediate lesson)
• includes henna cone/practice tools & handouts and design booklet
• henna lesson can be scheduled one on one, or in groups
• workshops can be scheduled for schools and organizations

Airbrush Makeup Class

• 5 hours, held either Saturdays or Sundays 11am-4:30pm (includes a break)
• $250
• Learn airbrush techniques for beauty makeup, tanning, body makeup
• Airbrush system needed for class ($300) or bring your own. More information on ordering airbrush system in PDF file above.

Horror & Special Effects Class

• 5 hours, held either Saturdays or Sundays 11am-4:30pm (includes a break)

• Learn how to do simple special effects such as burns, scars, blood, etc

*** Makeup Kit needed for class is sold seperately. The academy creates a pro kit which can be ordered for $600 when registering for class or students can purchase their own items from recommended list. Our class kit includes makeup products from Makeup Forever, Kryolan, Smashbox, a complete 16 piece professional makeup brush set, tools, disposable products, beauty industry favorites and top rated makeup must haves. The kit price includes a student discount.

Makeup Lessons, Workshops & Makeup Parties

Aside from our professional series, we also teach the everyday person how to do makeup on themselves. We do private lessons, workshops & create makeup parties tailored to any age, race, or ethnicity. 

Private Lesson

• $200: $100 towards lesson, $100 credit towards makeup purchase
  
• one on one lesson, 2 hours long
• tailored to your needs, can cover any topic you would like to learn
• popular topics include: choosing proper products for skin tone/coloring, makeup basics, natural looks, work look, party/event makeup, eye makeup and corrective makeup to cover scars, blemishes and/or under eye circles
• receive a detailed handout to take home

Makeup 101 Workshop

• $50 a person, including a $20 credit towards makeup purchase
  
• at least 4 people are required, this can also create makeup party for larger groups
• 2 hours long, includes demo, practice on yourself & question/answer time
• learn all the basics about makeup, creating soft natural/work & or party looks OR we can tailor lesson to what you want to learn
• light refreshments are served (youre welcome to bring in food as well)

Eye Expert Workshop

• $75 a person, includes professional eye makeup brushes, a palette of eyeshadows with shades you pick, an eyeliner of your choice & mascara
  
• at least 4 people are required, this can also turned into a really fun makeup party for larger groups
• 2 hours long, includes demo, practice on yourself & question/answer time
• learn how to be your own eye makeup expert, how to work with your eye shape & tricks on how to do several eye makeup looks

About the Artist/ Instructor:

Sarah Ali trained at the prestigious Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood & Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts under Oscar award winning artists. She has been working in the beauty industry since 1998. Sarah has a unique perspective because of her psychology background and is able to provide a supportive and inspiring environment for students. As an instructor she teaches not just artistry but coaches and guides students on how to establish their career.

Sarah has worked in every makeup industry setting including films, T.V. commercials, editorial and fashion shows. Sarah began learning makeup as an artist with Chanel, M.A.C. & Yves Saint Laurent. For the brief run of CK Beauty in Texas, she was selected as the regional artist for SW Texas. She enjoys, most of all, teaching and educating clients and students on makeup techniques and feeling beautiful inside & out.
