My Philosophy
A precious moment in time forever remembered, an emotion savored, a look, an embrace, the innocence of a child's laugh, the magic of young love... I like to catch such expression on a person's face rather then antiquated stiff poses and forced smiles. Because of my background in the social sciences, I am interested in capturing human relationships and emotional bonds. Because of my artistic tendencies, my portraits are inspired by fashion, art and world culture. I create artistic and dramatic backdrops, settings and scenery to create breathtaking backgrounds for my clients.
With an innate aesthetic awareness, a warm and goofy personality, and a boundless passion for creating timeless unique images, I hope to transform what could be run of the mill portrait photographs into works of art.

My Photography Story
My fondest early memory of photography was observing my dad reluctantly snapping shots for my sister’s amateur 8th grade modeling shoots back in the 80’s. I was the faithful assistant in charge of bunching her socks and re-zipping her diagonal zippered, shoulder-padded sweater. Years later, I took over as the photographer for her high school, college and then med school graduation and expanded to actual paid-non sibling- gigs such as weddings, private events, modeling portfolios and children’s portraits. I attended courses in college and regularly go to workshops hosted by nationally recognized photographers.
